...thrift shopping adventures

Woke up this morning and went for a visit to my local thrift shop this morning. Eh, this trip didn't spark any great buys. I did find an old "vintage" United Colors of Bennetton color block sweater that was awesome, but I passed on it. It WAY too big for me. But I did walk away with this little navy blue topper that I loved for $4. Spring is on it's way, but I'll be sure to get much wear out of it until then. :-) I think I'll jazz it up a bit. Stay tuned to see if I actually do and how.
Scored this sequined top while thrifting this morning for $10...love it! The beading and sequins work is well done, not like much of the sequins work you see in today's garments. It has some old soul in it, and I love the element of shine and boldness with all the colors. It's definitely me. It's shiny. It's bright. It's colorful. It's fun in a wear your grandmother's clothes type of way. It's a size 10. Yes, and a size 10 I am clearly not. Wondering how I'll wear this one? Hmmmm. We'll see.
