like most of my fav old school artists, my dad introduced me to teena marie by blasting her music. with the constant hearing Portugese Love, If I were A Bell, Dear Marvin, Fire & Desire and many others, I also grew to love her voice and music. I always envision Portugese Love playing at my wedding while dessert was being served. sigh. she's definitely an unsung great talent.
